This Thursday, May 7, 2026 Orphic Beats presents Jo Moontribe (Zero1 Music / Magic Phangan)

Jo Moontribe is originally from the Mediterranean Island of Malta, where for almost two decades he was the owner of a prominent Nitespot that was well known for its Music Scene, and a party organizer since the mid-eighties, starting with Rock Music, onto House, Techno and finally discovering PsyTrance in the midnineties. He was also the Managing Director and Jumpmaster of a Skydiving School.

After many years of traveling around the Globe, and having lived
in a few different countries, in 2004 Jo sold up everything back
home and moved completely to the Tropical Island of Koh
Phangan in the Gulf of Thailand where it didn’t take him long to
become a well know name on the international scene as a Groovy
Twilight Psychedelic Trance DJ.

He also forms part of ‘Magic Phangan Productions’, the Thai
Organization behind The Experience Festival (Since 2008).
Jo has played in countless Festivals and Venues around the world,
in countries such as; Germany, France, Malta, Switzerland,
Austria, Italy, India, Nepal, Taiwan, Indonesia, Japan, South
Korea, and still at it…

Currently he is involved in organizing ‘Psydays’, which are Free,
Psychedelic Trance Parties, twice a week at Chill Up Club on Koh
Phangan.
