Marco Carola releases his first album in 9 years

There were rumors about Marco Carola releasing a new album for a year.. or two. But finally, oh FINALLY the wait is over!

On 7th of February 2011 Minus will release Marco Carola’s first album in 9 years – “Play It Loud!”. And as the press info on m-nus.com explains – the name suggests that this will be music for the clubs, the dance-floor, not something you listen to at home. Having heard the album I would say that is very much so, because one after another the tracks start sounding a bit boring, but I know that in a club the effect will be quite different. I personally have always loved Marco Carola exactly because his sets and music in general could make me dance no matter how tired I am, or not in the mood. Like I like to call him – the DJ with the most danceable music ever, the DJ, who knows what bassline is and how to play with it. And he confirms that by saying “I don’t think I ever play a record if it doesn’t have a bassline”.

The album will contain 18 tracks, one of which will be released on an EP on 26th of January (Digital, the vinyl version will be out two days earlier). Combining forces with Martin Buttrich, Marco gives a taste of his album with the track “Groove Catcher”. If you order the digital EP you will have the original and two remixes by Martin Buttrich and if you are old-school and love you some vinyl you will have the original, one Buttrich remix and another track, called “The Method”.

The full info about both of the releases you can find on m-nus.com. And now let’s hope that the rumors that he is coming back to Bulgaria soon are also true…
