The month begins and ends at [UNVRS] Ibiza, where Cox is continuing his Sunday residency throughout the summer. His August dates at the venue are scheduled for August 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, forming the backbone of a demanding itinerary that also takes him through Italy, Romania, Croatia, Malta, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Each Ibiza edition brings a different supporting lineup. The August 2 programme includes Skepta, SYREETA B2B TSHA and Nakadia, followed by Luciano, Ilario Alicante and Tini Gessler on August 9. Vintage Culture, Miss Monique and Clüb De Combat join Cox on August 16, while The Martinez Brothers and PAUZA appear on August 23. The final August residency date features Joseph Capriati, Honey Dijon and Brina Knauss.
Away from Ibiza, the run begins with a journey to Sardinia on August 4, where Cox is billed alongside Andrea Oliva at Twiga on the Costa Smeralda. Two days later, he heads to Cluj-Napoca for the opening day of UNTOLD Festival, appearing on the Galaxy stage as part of the Romanian festival’s underground electronic programme.
One of the month’s most distinctive settings arrives on August 7, when Cox headlines Cave Romane near Medulin in Croatia. The venue is a former Roman limestone quarry whose natural rock walls are being incorporated into the lighting, laser and visual production for the event.
Following another Sunday at [UNVRS], Cox travels to Malta for an open-air performance at UNO in Ta’ Qali on August 12. The date continues a series of club and festival appearances built around house, techno and the broad musical range that has defined his sets over several decades.
The schedule then moves to Sicily for two consecutive nights at Movida Beach Club near Taormina. Cox plays a solo Carl Cox On The Beach event on August 13, marking his return to eastern Sicily after eight years. On August 14, he is scheduled to share the booth with Louie Vega for what promoters have announced as their first-ever back-to-back performance.
The pairing brings together two different but closely connected histories of dance music. Cox’s background stretches from British rave and acid house to contemporary techno, while Vega’s work as a solo artist and member of Masters At Work connects house music with disco, soul and Latin influences. Their first B2B set is scheduled for Ferragosto night at the same Sicilian beach venue.
Cox returns to Spain on August 15 for Medusa Festival in Cullera, Valencia. The event’s 2026 edition runs from August 13 to 17 and brings together artists from techno, house, hard techno, EDM, trance and harder dance styles across multiple stages.
After his August 16 [UNVRS] appearance, the second half of the month shifts toward four large outdoor Warriors Dance events presented by The Prodigy. Cox joins the group as a special guest at the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin on August 20 and at The National Bowl in Milton Keynes on August 22.
The Warriors Dance run continues at the Royal Highland Showgrounds in Edinburgh on August 29 before reaching Wythenshawe Park in Manchester on August 30. Depending on the individual date, the wider programme also includes David Rodigan, Andy C, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U and SCARLXRD.
Between those shows, Cox returns to Ibiza on August 23 and heads to Creamfields in Daresbury on August 28. He is scheduled to perform in the festival’s HALO arena on Friday alongside Franky Wah, Ben Sterling, Chelina Manuhutu, James Organ and Murfi. The appearance forms part of Creamfields’ celebration of 20 years at its Daresbury location.
The official poster lists both the Manchester Warriors Dance event and Cox’s [UNVRS] residency in Ibiza on August 30, giving the month a two-city closing date before the Ibiza season continues into September and early October.
