RvS has always been about flora and fauna, so we thought it's about time we put together an event in the great outdoors. For the first RvS Weekender, we have teamed up with Electric Discotheque to create something truly special and intimate at a stunning lakeside, woodland sanctuary within an hour of London. There will be camping, stellar sound and scrumptious food on the site.

So tickets are now live for the Weekender and here are a few words about them:
We have decided not to charge an entry fee as this is a private event solely for friends and music lovers. We would like it to have the feel of a house party whilst surrounded by the beauty of a lake and forest. Our objective is to create the ultimate party love bubble for our favourite people with exquisitely good music, far away from the madding crowd.
The landowner has very generously given us free access to the land and his licence, thus making this possible.
However, there are costs — several thousand pounds of them — arising from the basic amenities that are required to put on a quality event, such as: good sound, lights, toilets, generator, marquees, and so forth. We have hired security for the duration of the event to ensure that you and your property are protected. If we were millionaires, we would love to cover these costs ourselves, but perhaps in another life ☺
The only thing we ask from every individual is some commitment — that being a deposit of £35 that can be used on site against drinks and food. We believe that in doing so, we can cover the costs of the event, whilst providing an affordable bar that is far cheaper than the drinks prices at any other festival or club. Beers, for example, will be charged at £3.50 each, doubles at £5.50. We also believe that the deposit acts as a filter against any persons who might want to come to a free event for the wrong reasons, expecting a free-for-all. The quality of crowd is of paramount importance to us.
The landowner has only asked for camping pitches to be covered at £30 per tent (not per person). This is to ensure that security can keep an eye on the camping area while you guys have fun.
Sadly, the license on the land does not allow for external booze to be brought in, and for glass bottles to be on site. We hope that everyone will respect and participate in these minor stipulations to help us in making this happen.
