Santiago Deep was born in Chile in 1986. Since he was a child he is related to music. Santiago gained interest in producing at the age of fourteen. The beginning of his career was marked by the roots of black music especially hip hop and reggae. The musical evolution of Santiago Deep was marked by the electronic tendencies of this music. In 2003 he begins to experience under triphop and downtempo although at the same time he began his incursion into the electronic sounds, marked by the dark and more progressive sounds. Parallel to this he started mixing music, especially progressive house. In 2005 he already got invited for gigs in clubs such as Floor 33, Ex- - Trifulca, club Miel, and others.

In 2007 his first production Peumatun Nepetun was released by the Mexican label Bit Records, which was his first step in becoming one of the best producers of progressive –dark house in Latin America. At the end of 2007 he releases his second EP called Tales For a Kid - a precise mixture between progressive and dark sounds. His productions started growing in number and soon in 2008 he began his first radio shows Deepsounds of Turkey, FM beat from Argentinean and Danceradio.gr. Later on he released his third disc, this time under the label Balkan Connection - a sub-label of the famous Proton Music and also 2 more compilations for this same label with a very good reception in the style that he began to experiment with. At the same time he signed-up with Jetlag Digital from Germany and Toes in the sand for publishing new materials. 2008 finished for Santiago with over 20 tracks released, being the winner of the contest organized by Feralcode records, and with almost 200 sold copies of his EP SUNSET ARMENIA. In 2009 he started the second season of Under Machine on danceradio.gr and had few more productions - a nice mixture between progressive and techno sounds.
