Gifted, unstoppable, different, energetic, dancefloor-shaking… Playgaro or otherwise Denislav Velev is without any doubt the saviour of Sofia’s club scene. His music selection is a 100% guarantee for quality club sounds and uplifting party atmosphere.
Heavily influenced by electronica, classic house, and trip-hop from the 90s he creates his own unique style and mix of deep, tech- house, electronic, jazzy, nu-disco. A definite ‘must-hear’ are his exclusive sets with live vocals by the very talented Iva and Bogdana Mitova.
Playgaro has played many of Bulgaria’s best venues including Yalta Club, Mascara, Vision, Totally Romantic Cabacum, Bukowski, Kanape . . . and many more. He has also professionally provided sounds for fashion shows, art exhibitions and underground parties. He currently holds residence at Art Academy Arlet’s special events. Playgaro is also behind the organization of several parties including Sofia’s well-known New Year’s celebration at the Red House, Sofia’s culture hotspot in the last few years.
Alongside the Surrealism project with which he organizes the Surrcasm parties, Playgaro continues to inspire a new magical world of wild imagination and fun overdose on the dancefloor.
