Miss Lidiya

Bulgaria's First Lady Of Techno Miss Lidiya is one of ULTRA359 & Metropolis Music & one of the most promising & attractive new comers on the Bulgarian electronic music scene.

Some people have a sixth sense for the beat and this petite beauty is one of them. The former party girl started to get involved with electronic music back in 1999, when she moved to Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Here she could be a part of the rising techno scene and suddenly get involved as a crew member of METROPOLIS ( www.metroplis-bg.com).

Lidiya which is her real name started DJ-ing in the beginning of 2003. Her techno style was banging, driving and pumping up to hard techno grooves. The uprising techno diva is one of the Co founders of TECHNO MAFIA & ULTRA359 – Bulgaria (2007). Lidiya with her soul mate DJ Smurf ( Metropolis & Ultra359) was the main force of the hard-techno festival HARD LOVE which 3 issues (so far) had left the Bulgarian underground scene resonating for good.

In her wild techno years Miss Lidiya had gigs with Pet Duo (Brasil), DJ Misjah(Holland), Robert Natus(Germany), Arkus P(Germany), Boris S(Germany), Ade Fenton(UK), Spiros Kaloumenos(Greece), Fergie(UK), Alex Calver(UK), Sven Wittekind(Germany), Axel Karakasis(Greece), Tobias Luke aka OBI(Germany), Lukas(Brasil).

In 2008 Lidiya got a DJ residency at Sofia’s super night club Escape where she had the great opportunity to evolve her sound to new-age minimal techno & tech house…always supported with heavy bass lines.

2009 started boombastik for Miss Lidiya with memorable gigs besides Umek, Adam Beyer, Andrea Roma & Marco Bailey and her first DJ nomination at SEEME Awards. Miss Lidiya was the girl who lift up the Metropolis audience just before Sven Vath got on the stage in Universiada Hall- Sofia in March. The same petite techno diva closed with explosive B2B set with Smurf & Vityaz the Metropolis XIII Birthday mega party with Dj Sasha & Spooky in May at the Winter Sport Palace-Sofia.

The charming brunette won her first award for BEST FEMALE DJ at SEEME AWARDS (South-East European Music Event) on official ceremony in Sofia in the beginning of June 2009. Same month the Bulgarian techno prima and her partner in techno crime DJ Smurf(Metropolis) brought to the advanced Bulgarian music scene their first own night - a new minimal-techno club adventure with totally local heroes called ROBOLOCO.
