Dimitri Monev aka m0nkata started DJing and made his first steps in 2004 inspired by the club scene and friends. He quickly understood that the Music will take a special place in his life and that everyone in this world is connected to music in his own way and each ones accept sound in a different way.

After attending to many parties and after-parties in Bulgaria he decided to start learning how to produce music. Trying to be better and better with Ableton, he created his own way of sounds, using waveform, EQ effects and all the things related to music production. He opened up a great new world and introduced himself into new dimensions where he could express all his ideas and feelings. His style varies from progressive grooves to pumping tech house depending on a mood and the crowd.

Nowadays monkata is playing almost in every big club in Bulgaria and working on new projects as a producer. He has the support of the most famous djs in Bulgaria and he is trying to attend almost every big party or festival abroud.
