Born in Barcelona, Spain, Chema joined the electronic scene in 1997 at the Macintosh Esparraguera (Barcelona). Chema immediately became one of the successful event producers C.I.A. from Spain. Chema became to be known as “Dezarate†with the dj´s and within electronic music scene.
Experience Dj Resident and special booking from 1998 to 2002 Chema worked top clubs in: Barcelona, Madrid, and Ibiza. Dezarate booked events in the U.K. to work several brands campaign events for the Ministry of Sound and the Bacardi Campaign with 18 dates around the country. He stayed as resident for several months at Pentagon, Pop, and The Crystal House. And play in the famous Boombox tour @ Godskitchen
Songwriting, Producing he´s own music 2007 Still working within European clubs Chema started to include its own original tracks in his sets. After a few months he started to receive offers to include his tracks in several compilations and dj sets around the continent. At this early stage his tracks were included in 12 albums from Ministry of Sound, Bonzai compilations, Cafe del Mar.. Then specialized labels such as Deep Class Records and Beatport started to release both individual tracks and original albums from Dezarate. His tracks obtained 6 continuous #1’s within Ministry of Sound, Beatport, Below Zero and DJ Download charts in a 6 month period. The very first tracks reached back to back the number one position an incredible goal for a newcomer..
Dezarate sign with Perfect Records_Paul Oakenfold One of the biggest stars in the electronic scene Paul Oakenfold started to notice Dezarate’s music. He began to include tracks in his own sets, as well as podcasts. A total of 80 Podcast have included at least one of Dezarate´s tracks over the last 4 months. Currently Oakefold´s new album ‘Vegas’ includes one of Dezarate´s biggest hits. Oakenfold has also recently positioned Dezarate on his Top Ten monthly chart. At the moment Dezarate is working in various new tracks and remixes for Paul Oakenfold’s label (Perfecto Records). Dezarate is an official ambassador for the Pioneer brand, which selected him among a few others to try their new audio equipment and technology AND SIGN A RESIDENCE WITH THE FAMOUS BRAND BUDDHA BAR.
