RALPH LAWSON 2011 AUSTRALIA & JAPAN TOUR

2020 Vision’s Ralph Lawson will leave the UK’s freeze behind to head South East for a series of headlining DJ sets and festival appearances in Australia and Japan.

Hot off the heals of his recent We Love… 2020Vision CD, Ralph is back behind the decks after an outstanding year that saw his residencies at We Love Space, Ibiza, Barcelona’s The Loft and Back to Basics reach new heights.

Standout gigs in 2010 have included Berlin’s Watergate, Fabric, The Subclub, Mulletover, Motion Bristol, The Garden Festival, The
Underground Ibiza, Cocoon Frankfurt as well as rocking Sonar, The Big Chill, MOS, Leeds 02 Academy and many others with the 2020Soundsystem. Lawson's trademark 2020Vision sound that seamlessly mixes classic deep house, techno and live funk infused nu disco over long sets now heads to Australia and Japan in January.

"I really am buzzing more than a mosquito to be going back to Oz and Japan to play, especially as I haven't been over there for three
years! Straight to the airport from Electric Chair to sit on a plane for 2 days could be interesting though!
" Ralph Lawson

On the way to the airport Lawson stops off for his first ever gig at Manchester's legendary Electric Chair. The whole trip will become a
tour feature in cutting edge online music magazine Resident Advisor and recorded for his Ibiza Sonica radio show. Ralph will be kicking
off 2011 in Sydney, joining a mouth-watering line up of heavyweight DJs including Carl Cox, Steve Lawler and Francois K at the much
anticipated return of Space Ibiza festival 2011. He then moves onto Japan to play three successive gigs at Tokyo’s Amate-Raxi, Nagoya
JBs and Triangle in Osaka.
