On 12 January 2010, EILO.org turned three. Specialized in broadcasting electronic music, the online radio offers its audience the diversity of 13 different channels: Trance, Progressive, Psychedelic, Ambient & Chill Out, Drum & Bass, Minimal, House, Mixotic, Techno, Hard Techno, Happy Hardcore, Gabbafreakz, Dubstep.
Renown names such as Umek, Add2Basket, Sultan, Eelke Kleijn, Kenneth Thomas, Eddie Halliwell, Matt Darey, Andy Moor, Moonbeam, Kintar, etc., have their own shows on EILO.org. The portal’s own Artist of the Weekend show presents to the listeners the life and work of artists and dj’s from all around the globe by broadcasting interviews as well as the special mixes recorded by them for EILO.org. The musical archives of the radio contain more than 5700 hours’ worth of dj-sets featured on the site from its launch until now.
On 19 March 2010, EILO.org will celebrate its 3rd birthday with a huge event at the 4th km Party Centre. A special guest of the party will be Jonathan Tesei a.k.a. Kintar (Sudam) who hosts his own shows on Frisky Radio (USA), DanceRadio (Greece), and now on EILO.org. He will fly to us from distant Argentina to bewitch us with his novel and mystic style of mixing distinguished by an unmistakable ethno-flavour. Among his major inspirations is Bulgarian folklore that often can be heard in his sets. The party will start with take off with a hypnotic live by Kliment, a Bulgarian artist proverbial wih his enchanting performances, followed by a mix by D. Denchev, one of the most rapidly evolving and innovative DJ’s on our scene. The final is preserved for a ground-shaking mix by break – the man behind the EILO.org project.
One of the best sound systems, Funktion-One, will be installed at the party venue especially for the event. Funktion-one has been used in the performances of world-famous artists such as Massive Attack, Chemical Brothers, Moloko, Underworld, Jamiroquai and many more.
Tickets will be on sale since 8 February 2010 at the price of 15 lv (20 lv on the day of the event).
