DJ Güney was born in Istanbul in 1975. He started his career as a DJon Radio 2019 in 1995, with a weekly radio show called Dance Department.He has been the resident DJ in many of the clubs which dominate the Istanbul underground scene including Club 2019, Club Millenium, Club Cantina and Club Highend.

DJ Güney participates in many electronic festivals, events and show performance with DJ's such as Hipp-e, Mazi, Mastiksoul, Silicon Soul, Terry Francis, Nathan Coles, Format B, Tom Clark, Michel De Hey, Derrick May and Fred Everything.

He has played in many clubs in Istanbul such as Club Crystal, Club Dirty, Club Clinic, Club Loop, Club Life, JB 1st Techno Festival and some of the best clubs in Bulgaria such as Club Comics (Varna), Club Chervilo (Sofia), Club Plasma (Plovdiv), Club Roxy, Club Excess (Bourgas), Club Stillisimo and Club Momo (Ruse).

DJ Güney plays a wide range of music from deep house to techno and hosts a weekly radio show at Radio Dinamo 103.8 on Fridays at Midnight and at Traffic Radio on Tuesdays at 8pm.
